VISION Vice President and Maryville Office Manager, Michael Waller, has helped enhance the firm’s capabilities with his 30+ years of engineering, surveying and design experience. He holds registrations as a Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky.

Michael has overseen numerous projects in the East Tennessee area, putting his expertise to good use in residential and commercial development, construction management and zoning assistance and permitting.

A few of Michael’s notable projects in the area include: Fourth Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant; Jellico Water Treatment Plant Expansion; K-Trans Bus Maintenance and Office Facility; BellSouth Personal Communications System Build Out; Centerpoint Business Park; Lake City Library; Loudon County Justice Center Expansion; TRDA Office and Training Center; and Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Michael takes great pride in the fact that VISION has built a well-deserved reputation for conscientiousness and ethical conduct in the industry– a reputation which he attributes to a couple of factors.

“VISION is able to provide comprehensive, personalized solutions primarily because of our close relationship with our clients,” he says.

“Also, VISION’s family atmosphere directly contributes to the desire to provide superior, cost-effective results for our clients…because we’ve created a work atmosphere in which we encourage creativity and foster innovation. And that translates to giving our customers the best we can give.”

As Maryville Office Manager, Michael guides the projects produced in his office and assumes responsibility for attendant project planning, quality assurance and budget issues. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Code Council.
