VISION Vice President and Project Manager, Rodney McCarter, is a Registered Tennessee Land Surveyor with more than 20 years of surveying experience. In his capacity as the Sevierville Office Manager, he has served as Principal Project Manager for projects produced in his office.

Having grown up in Sevierville, Rodney has a unique appreciation for the beauty of the East Tennessee region, an appreciation which is reflected in each project he undertakes. A self-described perfectionist, Rodney takes pride that VISION is known throughout the region as the premier design firm in the area of mountain development. He believes the firm’s reputation is a direct result of the firm members’ education, broad range of experience and extensive amount of local knowledge and project credentials. He says it’s these qualities which instill a passion in each VISION employee to deliver extraordinary customer service.

“For me, this is the culmination of a dream,” he says. “I enjoy this so much, it’s difficult for me to call it work. Everyone at VISION is encouraged to get involved and make an impact and it’s that involvement that gives us such a high degree of integrity which is what our clients are looking for.”

Some of Rodney’s notable projects in the East Tennessee region include: Bluegreen Resorts in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tn; Fairfield Resorts; Alpine Mountain Village; Covered Bridge Resorts; Starr Cress Resorts; Vista Condominiums; Mandarin House Restaurant; Wildbriar Subdivision; Sprint PCS Build Out; ATT Wireless Build Out; Food Lion, Inc.; East Tennessee Agricultural Resource Park; Carden Farm Industrial Park; BASF Landfill; Knox County Penal Farm.
